Carl Cagliarini

Founder of PLYROTECH, Carl is an innovator and entrepreneur.

Carl founded PLYROTECH in 2016 to capture essential defense technologies and intellectual property that needed focus and appropriate finance to take them from concept to reality, with the goal of transforming the national security and defense capabilities of NATO allies.

In his role at PLYROTECH, Carl drives strategic direction and product roadmap of the company, with a primary focus on the aerospace team Carl fosters rapid product development and deployment, delivering the tools required to industry and defence in months not years.

Carl has an extensive background in assisting tech-business transformation and significant success in telecommunications and laser technology breakthroughs which include delivery of the first wireless internet networks through to managing ground to space communication capabilities using laser technologies.

Susan Gardner
Chief Financial Officer

Susan Gardner

Before joining PLYROTECH Susan spent over 16 years at Boston Mutual Life Insurance as their Vice President, Controller, and treasurer. Susan’s primary responsibility was for accounting compliance, implementation & research. Support company profit and surplus targets with ongoing analysis and input.

Susan joined PLYROTECH not just to ensure clear financial reporting but to assist in financial strategy to ensure that the management team have timely data to support decisions and to provide strategic planning and collaboration across all parts of the business to drive success.

Paul Keen
Director of Operations

Paul Keen

Paul is a highly focussed experienced manufacturing professional that has worked on several innovations where size weight and cost needed to be reimagined to achieve commercial success. In his prior role Paul served as the VP Operations at Radio physics Solutions. Prior to that he served as a Production Manager assisting Tom Tom SATNAV to redesign and deliver significant cost savings by moving to LCD and single board processing and GPS capabilities.

In his Role at PLYROTECH Paul manages the company UK Aerospace facilities in Kings Lynn and Lincoln, where he runs a continuous improvement program and drives ISO 9001 compliance for the whole organization.

PHIL LANCASTER

PHIL LANCASTER

Phil Lancaster brings several years of public company experience from his several years of tenure as SVP Business Development & Government Relations at Patriot One Technologies. Prior to this role Phil worked internationally as a British Police Officer in VIP close protection, as well as international service in British Overseas Territories. Throughout his career, Phil received several notable awards for his efforts in the UK and overseas. Through Phil’s work in diplomatic protection, and Patriot One Technologies, he has established an extensive global network of contacts that range from government to law enforcement agencies. Phil has written several journal articles focused on the future of soft target hardening and innovation. In addition to his role as a director, Phil will also be taking a management role, assisting in the commercial exploitation of the company’s technologies to law enforcement and state security agencies.

Maxine Davenport

Prior to joining PLYROTECH Maxine's experience expands over 25 years working on the creation and deployment of brand, marketing and event strategies across various tech based companies.

Serving in positions for some of the World’s leading businesses and particularly notable for her projects with HP, Honeywell, Panasonic and Apple, she has successfully directed and implemented major marketing strategies and events globally.

In Maxine’s role at PLYROTECH, she is responsible for the development and deployment of the company’s marketing strategy, brand management, social exposure and corporate events - aligning PLYROTECH’s corporate mission with a supporting marketing strategy and plan.

DR. KHALID M. AL-ALI
Independent Director

DR. KHALID M. AL-ALI

Dr. Khalid M. Al-Ali brings deep experience and expertise to his roles in various organizations, having spent much of his career in Silicon Valley. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Senseta, a world leader in mission-critical big data fusion, AI and drone-powered deep technologies. He is the Co- Founder and Chairman of the Silicon Valley Space Business Roundtable (SVSBR). He was the Executive Director of the University of California Office for NASA Partnerships and the University Affiliated Research Center (UARC).

He was the Science Advisor for the Office of the Center Director at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) and was the principal investigator, project lead, and program visionary at NASA ARC and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL), on key projects involving advanced aircraft and spacecraft technologies, intelligent avionics, novel power systems, planetary rovers and robots, spacecraft, and intelligent exploratory vehicles for Lunar, Martian, and Antarctic missions.

THOMAS W. NASH

Thomas W. Nash is the Chairman and CEO of Xalles Holdings Inc., a Fintech holding company. Mr. Nash has provided strategic business advice to more than 200 firms worldwide from small firms to large organizations such as U.S. Bank, MasterCard, and Citibank.

He also led the implementation of financial systems within the U.S. Government’s Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security as well as helped launch successful startup ventures in the payment, eCommerce and IT fields.
