Our fleet of unmanned aircraft are defining new standards in autonomous unmanned aviation. We excel in Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) fixed wing and heavy lift helicopter systems.  We use the latest AI-enabled sensors and anti-collision technologies linked to long range data radios and, where required, global SATCOM systems.

We use a modular airframe design, allowing for a variety of rapidly swappable payloads. This culminates in a fleet of truly versatile platforms, capable of delivering high performance across a range of applications.

We constantly refresh our knowledge and apply the latest technologies and techniques from engineering and science to ensure our clients are ahead of a competitor or adversary. Our Unmanned Aircraft with autonomous launch and in-flight tasking capabilities enable missions once thought impossible, a deliverable reality. 

Our Journey

Founded in 2016 as Plymouth Rock Technologies, PLYROTECH began as a sensing and imaging company, developing products for threat detection.

We wanted to experiment deploying sensors on drones,. We looked at the entire UAV market, however, we could not find a suitable platform that could deliver on payload capacity and flight time.

Working with technical partners, we designed and produced our first drone, the X1, in 2019.

To date, we have a fleet of 7 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), from multirotor to fixed-wing VTOL (vertical take-off and landing), all designed with versatility and capability at the forefront.
